Alex has direct expertise in two primary industries: Marketing & Sales/ Advertising and Legal / Attorneys. He also has a geographical recruiting strength in the Midwest, primarily in Ohio.
His recruiting career began in 2003 when he was with Management Recruiters International. His marketing work with them included strategic rebranding (moving them into MRINetwork) while directing the national Field Marketing in support of more than 900 franchised recruiting offices.
Prior to this, he spent 20 years in various marketing and advertising roles. This included 10 years serving as a Regional Marketing Manager for McDonald's and Wendy's in the Quick Service Restaurant category and also as a Zone Marketing Manager with Blockbuster Video. The remaining 10 years were spent supporting clients like Hallmark Cards, Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream, Domino's Pizza and Mexicana Airlines within various advertising agencies of all sizes, from large (J. Walter Thompson/ LA), medium (Valentine-Radford and Bernstein-Rein/ KC) to small (Joey Reiman/ Atlanta.) He even spent a few years selling radio time in South Florida and Kansas City. So Alex has been involved in all dimensions of the advertising life cycle.
From a recruiting point of view, he is actively working on search assignments for Copywriters, Art Directors, Account Manager/ Supervisors/ Directors, Web Designers and Graphic Managers for Advertising Agencies and many marketing firms. He has recently been called upon to develop a legal recruitment service due to requests from several national legal firms including associates within the health care, finance, tax and general litigation areas.
