Tim Murphy is founder and managing partner of SearchPath Career Source.  With eight years of recruiting experience, Tim places professionals in all areas of human resources, supply chain, and marketing.

Clients value that Tim takes the time to do a thorough analysis of his clients’ needs, identifying the qualities and attributes clients require of the ideal candidates, so that he can help them to identify the right person for their particular opportunity.

Prior to recruiting, Tim’s career included stops that gave him the first-hand experience he uses to understand his clients’ needs today.  He started his career with UPS, where he quickly learned about hard work and became a manager, during which time he developed many skills including tracking individual performance, practicing safe work methods, training, employee relations and much more.

Tim also served as a plant manager of a large distribution center in the Chicago area, where he was the procurement manager and human resource manager, as well.  Tim eventually started selling CRM software and learned about technology and how to apply it to the business world.  It was in this role that Tim got involved with customers and accessing their needs, and customizing solutions to meet clients’ requirements. This experience led to a natural transition to executive search, specializing in human resources technology.
