A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Andrew brings nine years of experience in the staffing industry. He began as a recruiter/branch manager placing temporary security guards with the local branch of Guardsmark Inc., a national contract security organization. Andrew's production was half of the annual office billings of nearly $900,000. His clients included among others Progressive Insurance, TRW, Parker Hannifin, and National City Bank. After two years, Andrew joined MRI as a project coordinator in the Client Services Division. This was a fulfillment center focusing on placing professionals on volume based national accounts. Andrew successfully identified and placed 11 Pharmaceutical Sales reps in his first 6 months with billings over $80,000. After successfully placing Pharmaceutical and IT Sales Professionals and a change in focus from fulfillment to project management, he was promoted to the role of Project Manager and then to Field Services Manager.
With a background in temporary placements, Andrew was asked to act as the corporate liaison to the field for the MRI Contract Staffing division. He spent two years in this role educating franchise owners and their staff on how to approach clients on this additional revenue stream. The interim division increased sales 25% his first year to nearly $5 million in billings.
Andrew's last two years with MRI were spent in Field Operations assisting over 50 new Franchisees in the start up and continued development of their businesses. He was instrumental in developing MRI’s new franchisee training programs like AENext Step, Rapid Response for new Owners, and Contract Staffing training programs for AE's and Owners
In his most recent role as Sr. Director of Operations for SearchPath, Andrew played an integral role in the creation of all operating procedures including support documents and reports; the foundation for SearchPath’s Centralized Resource Department and the successful launch of SPI University- the first truly educational platform for higher learning in the staffing industry. He is a faculty member and teaches 4 courses for new Franchisees and rookie consultants. In addition, Andrew also created the SPI Strike Force concept that will change the way field operations is managed by franchisors. The concept was developed around franchisees assisting other franchisees with critical operational issues. This eliminates the additional overhead expense needed to support the franchise network. Andrew’ practice specialty is serving the needs of local professionals and local business- both on direct and temporary assignments. In addition he specializes in placing Sales, Marketing, and Management Professionals in Biosciences, Information Technology, and Nanotechnology organizations.
Jennifer Devore, Managing Partner- Administration/Research
Jennifer graduated from John Carroll University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Right after graduation, she started in the School Psychology graduate program at Kent State University, acquiring her Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees by the year 2000. For the past 7 years, Jennifer has been employed as a School Psychologist working for one year in the Hudson City Schools and six years in the Berea City Schools. Her job included the evaluation, identification and educational programming for children with disabilities, ages 3-21. This type of career demands dedication, flexibility, the ability to quickly analyze problem situations, and the skills of reaching people and listening to their needs. Her latest desire is to integrate her educational and psychological backgrounds with the current needs of the staffing industry.
