Our Search Process

Below is an outline of a typical search process when using Devore Family & Associates.

  • Customer engages DFA in a search to identify “A” player(s).
  • Project kick-off meeting to determine client's specific needs and details for the search-specific companies or person the client would like to hire from.
  • Client will be introduced to the team that will be working on the project.
  • Team will develop a description of the position to be filled. The description will be forwarded to client for approval.
  • Team will develop client selling points and submit to client for approval.
  • Team will develop a company search list (ideally 50-100 names). Client will prioritize companies based on their preferences.
  • Team will begin name gathering at approved companies and will reach out to those the customer would like DFA to specifically target.
  • Associates begin actively recruiting 3 qualified candidates.
  • Check professional references of candidates.
  • Suitable candidates will be presented to Managing Partner. If Managing Partner agrees with Associates assessment of the candidate, another phone interview will be conducted.
  • Managing partner approves candidate and presents them to client. If client approves, interview will be scheduled.
  • Client and candidate are debriefed on interview. If there is a suitable match, process moves forward.
  • Managing Partner will conduct closing/negotiation of employment offer between client and candidate.
  • Offer/acceptance/start date.

The goal of DFA is to have this search completed for you in less than 30 days.
